The 2 story building was built as the Bank of NSW and contains the Banking Chamber and the Manager's residence (the accommodation).

The accommodation is spacious with 4 bedrooms (upstairs) 2 rooms with queen size plus a single bed and the other 2 rooms with 2 single beds each.

Downstairs enjoy the comfortable living room with slow combustion fire place, generous dining room and cosy sunroom. The kitchen is well equipped and a laundry is available on request.

Braidwood Townstay is family / child friendly. A cot is available and child barriers can be fitted on the staircase for the safety of adventurous toddlers.
