DirectionsWhen travelling from Canberra or Goulburn and entering Braidwood from the north, the building is on your RIGHT. It is on the corner of Park Lane and Wallace Street next to the only pedestrian crossing in town. Entering town you will cross a creek, head up a gentle hill and the War Memorial and Ryrie Park are on your left. You'll see the Court House on the right, then the Post Office and Council Chambers. Braidwood Townstay is the next building on the right hand side of the road. It was once the Bank of NSW and still has the original brass lettering on the front. Coming from Batemans Bay, you will travel along Lascelles Street, turn right into Wallace Street, pass one cross street (Duncan Street) and see Braidwood Townstay on your LEFT next to the pedestrian crossing. |
